Congratulations to those who earned a spot on a 2021 BATBA Roster! It is now time for your initial registration and commitment to your team. Please register by Wednesday, November 4 at 5pm. Each player will pay their $100 registration fee. Each family will pay one $150 volunteer fee, unless you are an official board member, head coach, assistant coach or team manager. This $150 fee will be refunded later in the season if you complete a minimum of 6 official volunteer hours.

The tryout process for BATBA is complete. Rosters for the AAA and AA teams have now been posted on our website. Congratulations to all of the players who earned their place on a BATBA roster! If your player was not listed on these rosters, we encourage you to continue playing baseball in one of our local associations and tryout for BATBA again next summer! Keep playing ball, and we look forward to seeing you on the fields soon.

$150 volunteer fee and $100 commitment fee will be collected at the first registration in October/November. Volunteer fees will be refunded to those who complete their hours after completion of the season.
BATBA will no longer hold a raffle for the 2021 season. The $75 fundraising fee will now be part of the general registration.
With heavy hearts the BATBA board has voted to cancel the 2020 baseball season. Our top priority at this time must be the safety of our players, coaches and families. Effective immediately all BATBA sanctioned or directed activities will cease. The safety regulations which would be necessary to keep our players, coaches, umpires and fans safe during this pandemic dramatically change the game we love. It has become increasingly apparent that we cannot provide the baseball experience we had all hoped for.
There is no clear roadmap from our governing body towards playing games, and many surrounding communities have also cancelled their seasons. The reality of COVID-19 up to this point makes it difficult to imagine resuming competitive play anytime soon.
This decision was terribly difficult to make, and came only after multiple contingency plans and much creativity in attempt to get the players back on the field. We all love baseball, and disappointed does not begin to express how we are feeling at this time.
Moving forward, all BATBA families will receive a full refund for their 2020 registration fees. Please allow 2-4 weeks for us to process these refunds. Two transactions will be refunded. The $100 commitment fee paid in October, as well as the final registration fee paid in January. If your family should so choose, donations in any amount could be deducted from this refund. Please contact email@example.com by June 8 if you are interested in donating. These donations will help to cover the costs of our liability insurance, website fees, winter training costs and equipment already purchased.
We have committed to use the same uniform vendor for the 2021 season and hope that many of you can reuse the uniforms you have already purchased. Please keep them in new condition when you receive them from your coach.
